Continuation of the cookie episode..

This links to my previous post so if you haven't read it read that first.

So.. I know I'm only supposed to leave it until it hardens for 4-5 hours as instructed.. But last night I was soooo tired coz got home at 10+ was from taka as well, so this morning I got up and after waaay past 12 hours in the fridge, I took out my dough and it..

Flattened, ladies and gentlemen~
I went ahead and cut it anyways, as best and uniformly as i could, and laid it on neatly top of the oven tray, which to my surprise fits perfectly (so this recipe makes 7*4) had it have been any other shapes I'm not sure of how it turns out..

Popped it into the preheated oven at 160 degrees for 18 min and afterwards, turning the oven off an leaving it to cool with the oven..

as you can see some were baked more than others.. hmph
ta-da~!
End result: not sure if I haven't baked it enough, but I think it turned out well.. Crumbles like a cookie, soft, fragrant (the sesameees) and not too sweet.. in fact, it feels like the Chinese cookies: minimal sweetness. Yup.

I'd rate this a 5/10, purely out of preference (I like my cookies chewy/gooey with melted chocolate or otherwise) and also because I'm not really sure if this is the optimal taste for cookies made this way.. But overall, I enjoyed the experience of making it. Yay~!
