Chirp chirp..
Soooo... This blog has been stagnant for a whole month.. Hahah.. Think it's abt time to update!!! (Wanted to do this 3 days ago but oh wells)
Sadly, I didn't have enough time to design any new food creation.. But! For the month of March, I started to...
Plant!!
This is the cute pot that I bought at Daiso and I decided to plant some Verbena flower seeds that I got for $1/pack at Cold storage (honestly it was the soil that was super expensive as I only used ..the size of which u can see out of a 6 or was it 10kg pack.. Ya). I bought some other seed packs such as wildflowers, lemon balm, vanilla, &smth else but after some consideration, chose this one as it stated in the pack: 'Description: Perennial herb. 20cm height and 8-12cm in diameter of the blossom. Favor to sunshine and well-drained soil. Shadow should be avoided. '
(Latin name: verbena hybrida)
As you can guess, I'm a lazy person and the desc made the plant-care easy. So far I must say I've been qte delighted at its progress for a first-timer as the plant seem to have a new growth every time I check on it (which is not often.. Haha). The only thing I did to it besides checking on it and watering it(not everyday as Singapore unpredictable weather often helped me out) was to redig the whole pack and separate each bud out and stick some chopped up 'sapu lidi' (dunno whats it called in Eng) 'piece/stick' for plant alignment/support. Yes, my noobish self went to put soil in pot, made some space in the middle and plant half-a-handful of seeds in it in the hope that one would bud. In the end, 5 did and because of the 'relocation' 1 died due to premature growth leaving me with 4 little kid stalks.. Hahah sorry for my poor English. But yeah, I was just happy when one did bud. It's a satisfying experience to see them grow heheheh..
